Initially offering counselling within the voluntary sector, he now has his own Counselling Practice, providing person-centred face-to-face or online support for clients struggling with issues including anxiety and depression, relationship problems, bereavement, loss, addiction and overcoming the effects of abuse. Before qualifying as a counsellor, David had a successful 30-year commercial career, during which time he created and managed several businesses. Operating at a senior level, he saw first-hand the challenges, expectations, and constant pressures that business leaders faced, and the subsequent impact on their professional and personal lives. His experience has shaped his approach, which is marked out by empathy, humour and pragmatism.
